Paris motor show 2014: new Renault Espace

Renault unveils new Espace MPV - but it won't be coming to Britain

Renault Espace - to be unveiled at Paris motor show 02/1014
Renault will take the wraps off a new Espace at the Paris motor showon October 2 - but the French company has said that it will not be sold in right-hand drive markets.
Previous versions were unashamedly - yet stylish - people carriers, or MPVs. Renault describes the new version as a "large, elegant and innovative crossover, which combines a strong design and seductive appeal".
It will be offered in five- and seven-seat form and based on the Initiale concept car shown a year ago at the Frankfurt motor show, which was an attempt to take the MPV concept upmarket.

Like previous generations of Espace over the last 30 years, the new version features a bright and airy interior.

Renault says it will feature a "floating" centre console to maximise the impression of interior space, adding that it has paid meticulous attention to detail in terms of the new car’s design and build.
