Fiat Avventur revealed

Fiat Avventura variant details revealed

The Fiat Avventura’s launch is just around the corner and we’ve been able to get our hands on a brochure.
Based on the Punto hatchback, the Fiat Avventura is a proper crossover. But unlike pseudo-crossovers, the Avventura gets increased ride height and the driving dynamics to go with its aggressive looks. Power comes from the 92bhp 1.3-litre diesel motor found in the Linea and the Punto Evo Sport.
Here’s an idea of the trim levels on the upcoming Avventura.
There are three trims on the Avventura: Active, Dynamic and Emotion.

The entry-level Active trim gets 16-inch alloys, rear fog lamps, a tailgate-mounted wheel with cover, dual-tone dashboard, electric and remote boot release, automatic and central door locking, front power windows, keyless entry and tilt-adjustable steering. Other features include compass, tilt meter and indicators on wing mirrors.
Over and above this, the mid Dynamic trim gets front fog lamps, electrically-adjustable body-coloured wing mirrors, height adjust for driver’s seat, rear power windows and ABS with EBD. It also gets an audio system with USB and aux compatibility along with speed-sensing volume control.
It is the top-of-the-line Emotion trim that comes well-equipped. It additionally gets front airbags, height-adjustable front seatbelts, automatic climate control, rear AC vents, rear wiper and washer and a rear defogger. Other fitments and features include ambient lighting for the dashboard, leather-wrapped steering and gear knob, 60:40 rear seat split, steering-mounted audio controls and Blue and Me system to control telephony.
All the trims of the Fiat Avventura are pretty well loaded, but it is only the top trim that comes well loaded, in terms of safety. We think, Fiat should have provided airbags for the Dynamic trim too. Customers going in for the base variant may feel short-changed owing to the lack of an audio system too.
